Terms & Conditions Policy
Effective date: 25 August 2026 | Last updated: 25 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of www.ijser.in and the services offered by the International Journal of Scientific Engineering and Research (IJSER). By using the website or submitting material, you agree to these terms and the applicable journal policies. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
Journal Services
IJSER provides manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, online publication, membership and related scholarly services. Submission or payment does not guarantee acceptance, favourable review, indexing, citation, academic recognition or any particular outcome. Publication decisions are based on editorial assessment, peer review, journal scope, originality, ethics and compliance with journal requirements.
Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that submitted work is original, accurate, lawful and not simultaneously under consideration elsewhere unless expressly disclosed and permitted. Authors are responsible for authorship consent, source acknowledgement, permissions, conflicts of interest, funding disclosures, ethical approvals, informed consent, research data and the accuracy of all statements, references and supporting material.
Authors must not submit plagiarised, fabricated, falsified, unlawfully obtained, defamatory, deceptive, infringing or otherwise prohibited material. The use of automated or artificial-intelligence tools must comply with applicable journal policies, and such tools must not be identified as authors.
Peer Review and Editorial Decisions
Submissions may be screened and sent for peer review. Reviewers' recommendations inform, but do not alone determine, the editorial decision. IJSER may accept, request revision, reject, correct, retract, withdraw or remove material when justified by academic, ethical, legal or technical considerations. Reasonable complaints and appeals may be considered under the applicable journal procedure.
Author Opinions and Research Information
Opinions, interpretations and conclusions in published articles belong to their authors and do not necessarily represent IJSER, its editors or reviewers. Authors remain responsible for their work. Editorial review does not amount to independent verification of every claim and does not remove obligations that IJSER may have under applicable law or its publication policies.
Published material is provided for scholarly and informational purposes. Medical, legal, financial, engineering or other professional information must not be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Readers should independently assess information before relying on it.
Copyright and Open-Access Licence
Unless an article clearly states otherwise, published scholarly articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). The licence permits sharing and adaptation for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the licence is supplied and changes are indicated. Authors retain copyright in their articles except where a separate written agreement states otherwise.
The IJSER name, logo, website design, software, source code, navigation, original policy text, compilation and administrative content are separate from CC BY-licensed articles and remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. They may not be copied or used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation or ownership. Third-party material included in an article may carry different rights or permissions; users are responsible for identifying and respecting those rights.
Advertising and External Services
The website may display advertisements supplied by Google or other advertising providers and may link to third-party services. Advertisements are presented separately from editorial decisions and do not constitute endorsement by IJSER. Advertisers and third parties are responsible for their own products, claims, websites and privacy practices. Information about advertising cookies and data use is provided in the Privacy and Cookie Policy.
Comments, Ratings and Other User Content
Users must not submit spam, unlawful content, hate speech, threats, harassment, explicit sexual content, malware, deceptive links, confidential personal information or material that infringes another person's rights. IJSER may moderate, reject or remove user content and may restrict abusive activity. Submission does not create a right to publication.
Acceptable Website Use
You must not interfere with website security, scrape or overload the website in a harmful manner, impersonate another person, manipulate traffic or advertising interactions, encourage invalid advertisement clicks, introduce malicious code, evade access controls or use the website for unlawful or deceptive activity. Advertisements must be clicked only because of genuine interest.
Fees and Payments
Any applicable article-processing charge or service fee will be communicated through the relevant website page or correspondence. Authors should review the stated inclusions and the Cancellation and Refund Policy before payment. Taxes, currency conversion and payment-provider charges may apply according to the transaction and applicable law.
Availability and Changes
IJSER may maintain, modify, suspend or discontinue website functions when reasonably necessary. We aim to keep information accurate and services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page will always be free from technical errors. Policies and fees may be updated prospectively by publishing the revised information on the website.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, IJSER will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on author-supplied content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights available under mandatory consumer or other applicable law.
Governing Law and Severability
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory rights that apply in a user's jurisdiction. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
